PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The Regional Secretary of West Java Province, Herman Suryatman, carried out the dissemination of the Pilot Program for Handling 100 PPKS Homeless and Jobless Families (KK) through the Provision of Rusunawa or Transit Apartment Facilities and Economic Empowerment at Gedung Sate, Bandung City, Wednesday (11/12/2024).

The dissemination was carried out to 100 families in the areas of Bandung City, Cimahi City, and Bandung Regency, who do not have permanent homes and jobs. West Java itself is a pilot project for the community handling program in the category of those in need of social welfare services from the Central Government.

Herman hopes that the program can improve the standard of living and bring prosperity to the community, so that they are expected to move up a class because they get a more decent life.

"We also present here our brothers and sisters who are the seekers of social welfare services who are currently not fortunate and God willing, all of them will work together to increase their capacity to improve their competence, so that their quality of life can improve," said Herman.

According to Herman, the PPKS program targeting 100 families will provide flat facilities and economic capital for entrepreneurship.

"We will facilitate for at least one year and we will also facilitate various mentoring training to improve their quality of life," he said.

"In the end (they) can live independently and prosperously and to obtain justice according to their rights as citizens and this is a collaboration of the West Java Provincial Government, regencies and cities in Greater Bandung, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Housing and Residential Areas, as well as the Ministry of Social Affairs and other stakeholders," he added.
