PORTALJABAR, BOGOR REGENCY - Ahead of Eid al-Fitr 2025, the Bogor Regency Transportation Agency (Dishub) has prepared various strategic steps to ensure the smooth flow of homecoming and return traffic for Eid 2025.

In this effort, the Transportation Agency together with related agencies will deploy 483 members consisting of various parties. This was stated by the Head of the Control and Operations Division of the Bogor Regency Transportation Agency, Dadang on Wednesday (19/3/2025).

It should be noted that the 483 members consist of various parties, namely 331 personnel from the Transportation Agency, 80 personnel from the Police, 32 personnel from the TNI, 10 personnel from the PMI, 10 personnel from the Scouts, 10 personnel from Orari and 10 personnel from Organda.

Head of the Control and Operations Division of the Bogor Regency Transportation Agency, Dadang, revealed that to support traffic management, the Bogor Regency Transportation Agency will place 9 pospam points spread across several strategic locations, namely, Gadog, Cisarua, Cigombong, Leuwiliang, Laladon, Cileungsi, Cibinong, Pancakarsa, Parung.

According to him, as part of the traffic management efforts during the homecoming and return flows of Eid, the Transportation Agency will implement traffic protection in two main periods, namely, the Homecoming Flow will be carried out from March 24 to April 2, 2025. Meanwhile, the Return Flow will be carried out from March 31 to April 8, 2025.

"We will also impose operational restrictions on freight transportation during the homecoming and return flows. These restrictions will start on March 24, 2025 from 00.00 to April 8, 2025 at 24.00. These restrictions apply to 3-axle freight cars, 3-axle trailers or trailers and cars used to transport excavations, soil, sand, stone, mining materials, and building materials such as iron, cement, and wood," he said.

To ensure that vehicles operating meet safety standards, Dadang said, the Transportation Agency has carried out two stages of vehicle inspections. The first stage was carried out on March 1-15, 2025 at Bus Terminals B and C for public transportation vehicles.

The second phase will be carried out from March 18 to April 8, 2025, with inspection locations at Rest Area KM 45 Jagorawi, Cisarua, Parama, and Taman Safari.

"We have prepared various facilities and equipment to support the smooth running of Eid transportation, including 9 Eid Transportation Security Posts, 40 official motorcycles, 10 official cars, 1 tow truck, 5 skywalker cars, 50 trapicon units, 50 portable signs and 50 water barriers, the number of vehicles and equipment can still be increased according to the needs in the field," he said.

He emphasized that with thorough preparation, the Bogor Regency Transportation Agency ensures that the 2025 Eid transportation will run smoothly and safely for travelers.
