PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. GARUT - The West Java Province Communication and Informatics Service (Diskominfo) is holding a 2024 Password Communication Network (JKS) Coordination Meeting with a focus on Implementing Electronic-Based Government System Security (SPBE) to Support Digital Transformation.
The meeting, which was attended by representatives from 27 districts/cities throughout West Java, took place in the Harmoni Hotel Ballroom, Jalan Cipanas Baru, Tarogong Kaler District, Garut Regency on Tuesday (27/2/2024).
Regional Assistant I for Government and People's Welfare (Pemkesra) Garut, Bambang Hafidz, welcomed the holding of this meeting in Garut and hoped that this would expand Garut's knowledge in terms of SPBE security by sharing experiences with other more advanced districts.
"Then other districts can also share the advantages they have so that they can provide each other with alternative options to advance the implementation of SPBE," he added.
Head of West Java Diskominfo, Ika Mardiah, said virtually that the West Java Provincial Government has made various efforts through the West Java information and encryption services program, abbreviated as Lalaki Sajabar, to protect information security, including the IT Security Assessment program to test and improve information system security of existing applications.
"So that security gaps in each application can be identified and repairs and security can be carried out as soon as possible," he said.
Head of the West Java Diskominfo Encryption Division, Asep Denny Surbakti, said that this meeting was a routine agenda to harmonize activities at the district, provincial and central levels - in this case the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN), with the hope of achieving harmonization and harmony in the implementation of SPBE .
Meeting participants consisting of technical teams for encryption management and information security took part in this activity to produce a coordinated work plan to advance SPBE implementation effectively.
"Activities between regional governments, in this case districts/cities, and provinces, and also the center become one linear line, so the goal is the same," he said. (rdp*)
