PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. BOGOR - In encouraging the acceleration of reducing stunting rates in Bogor Regency and encouraging the creation of healthy communities with good nutrition.

The Bogor Regional Government through the Bogor Regency Communication and Information Service (Diskominfo) provided additional nutritional food assistance to stunted children and pregnant women in the chronic energy category (KEK) which took place at the Albarqah Medika Clinic, Cikahuripan, Klapanunggal District, Thursday (25/7/2024).

Secretary of the Bogor Regency Diskominfo, Linda Hendrayani SWT, said that the Bogor Regency Diskominfo was appointed as a foster parent for stunting children in Bogor Regency, one of which was done by providing additional food with good nutrition as a form of commitment and implementation of the community nutrition provision program to improve children's growth and development and accelerate stunting reduction in Bogor Regency.

"It's easy that this assistance can be utilized by our children, so that our children grow and develop well, and there will be no more stunted children," explained Linda.

The Bogor Regency Diskominfo Secretary continued, providing additional food with good nutrition is the second activity which was previously carried out in Gunung Geulis Village, Babakan Madang District yesterday, and today is being carried out again in the Klapanunggal District area.

"God willing, we will provide additional food with good nutrition for the next two months," said Linda.

In the same place, the Head of the Albarqah Medika Clinical Services Division, Fhaima Albaar, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the ranks of the Bogor Regional Government for the assistance provided to stunted children.

"On behalf of the stunted children and the entire family, we express our infinite gratitude for the kindness of ladies and gentlemen for the assistance provided, not just material, but also encouragement for us to continue fighting to overcome the problem of stunting," he added.
