PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. BEKASI - Acting Regent of Bekasi Dani Ramdan accompanied Acting Governor of West Java Bey Machmudin to open the Pasisian Leuweung Market event which took place in the Eduforest City Forest, Bekasi Regency, Sunday (26/5/2024).

The event held by the West Java Provincial Forestry Service presented various forest products, cheap food events, traditional snacks, Mobile Samsat services and Business Permit services.

Dani said he enthusiastically welcomed the Pasisian Leuweung Market event to encourage the rise of local MSMEs and improve the welfare of farmers.

In fact, Dani is working on a future agenda for the Bekasi Regency Regional Government (Pemdakab) to be able to carry out various activities in the Eduforest City Forest, Taman Sari Village and Alun-alun Setu.

"Yes, because this location is an asset of the West Java Provincial Government and the activities carried out are also on the provincial government's agenda, therefore we ask the Governor of West Java to cooperate, so that later we can also hold various events here through related agencies," he said.

Once the cooperation and permits are complete, continued Dani, the location can be used for events organized by the Bekasi District Government, such as the Botram event and other exhibitions to encourage agricultural products and other MSMEs.

"Later, a series of Bekasi Regency Anniversary events or joint sporting events can be held in the Eduforest Forest, as well as to introduce people to the importance of forests, so that they love trees and the environment more," he said.
