PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - West Java DPRD appreciates the success of the West Java Provincial Government (Pemdaprov) which has created 153 innovations. These two innovations received the 2023 Innovative Government Award (IGA).

The two innovations are, West Java Open Data from Diskominfo for the Digital category, and Bumdes CEO from the Village Community Empowerment Service in the non-digital category which is known to be the superior innovation of the West Java Provincial Government.

Secretary of Commission I of the West Java DPRD, Sadar Musmohon, hopes that the success of the West Java Provincial Government can be maintained and even the innovations made will continue to increase in 2024. Apart from that, it is his hope that the 153 innovations that have been successfully made will be accompanied by good implementation, especially that they will be felt by the community evenly.

"We appreciate the success of the West Java Provincial Government for the IGA 2023 award. This is something very good, proud," said Sadar, after the Regional Regulation (Perda) Dissemination event, Wednesday (20/12/2023).

“Innovation is good, it just needs to be accompanied by good implementation. West Java is vast, there are 27 districts and cities. "The innovations that have been made must be felt by the community," he added.

The West Java Provincial Government succeeded in producing 153 development innovations during 2021-2022. Of these innovations, 28 came from regional apparatus, divided into 70 public service innovations.

Then there are 39 innovations in government governance, and 44 other regional innovations that are in accordance with government affairs that fall under regional authority. Meanwhile, the most innovations came from the Health Service, there were 34 innovations. 28 Education Services, 19 Communications and Information Services, 19 Regional Personnel Agency, and 7 Innovation Regional Research and Development Agency.
