PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The Bandung City DPRD approved the Draft Regional Regulation (Raperda) concerning Accountability for the Implementation of the 2025 Fiscal Year APBD in a plenary meeting of the Bandung City DPRD, Friday (31/7/2026).

Bandung Mayor Muhammad Farhan expressed his appreciation to the Bandung City Council (DPRD), especially the Budget Agency and the Regional Government Budget Team (TAPD) for completing the discussion intensively, constructively, and with full dedication.

"The input and corrections provided during the discussion process demonstrate our shared commitment to ensuring that regional financial governance is transparent, accountable, and on-target," Farhan said.

According to him, approval of the Draft Regional Regulation is a crucial step in the regional financial management cycle. The APBD accountability document demonstrates government transparency in implementing various development programs, while also ensuring that regional revenue and expenditure management directly benefits the community.

Farhan said that various strategic notes submitted by the DPRD through the general views of the factions would become evaluation material for the Bandung City Government to improve the quality of government administration.

"We are committed to continuously improving our performance, enhancing the quality of public services, and optimizing budget absorption and effectiveness in the coming years," he said.

After obtaining the approval of the DPRD, the Draft Regional Regulation on Accountability for the Implementation of the 2025 Regional Budget will then be submitted to the Governor of West Java for evaluation in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations before being stipulated as a Regional Regulation (Perda).

Farhan expressed his gratitude to all elements of society, civil servants (ASN) and all parties who have supported the implementation of various development programs in the city of Bandung.

Therefore, Farhan invited all stakeholders to continue to maintain synergy and collaboration in realizing the vision of Bandung City as a superior, dignified, trustworthy, advanced and religious city.

"The spirit of togetherness and collaboration is crucial for creating a more advanced and prosperous Bandung for all its citizens," he said.
