
PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The Mayor of Bandung, Muhammad Farhan, together with the Deputy Mayor of Bandung, Erwin, and the Acting Regional Secretary of Bandung City, Iskandar Zulkarnain, held the 1446 H Eid al-Fitr Prayer at the Al-Ukhuwah Grand Mosque (31/3/2024).
Eid al-Fitr prayers at the Al-Ukhuwah Grand Mosque will be led by Dr. KH. Abdul Mujib, M.Ag, as the Grand Imam of the Al-Ukhuwah Grand Mosque. This activity will be held starting at 06.30 WIB until finished.
For this reason, the Bandung City Government invites the public to attend Eid prayers with the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Bandung at the Al Ukhuwah Grand Mosque.
Previously, the Government of the Republic of Indonesia through the Ministry of Religion has determined that 1 Shawwal 1446 H falls on Monday, March 31, 2025.
In Bandung City, as many as 1,843 mosques and 591 fields have been prepared as locations for the implementation of Eid al-Fitr prayers 1446 H/2025 M.
The Bandung City Government ensures that Muslims can perform their worship comfortably and orderly. The implementation of Eid al-Fitr prayers is spread across 30 sub-districts in Bandung City.
The sub-district with the largest number of prayer locations is Bandung Kulon with 102 mosques and 12 fields, followed by Bojongloa Kaler with 99 mosques and 14 fields. Meanwhile, Coblong is the sub-district with the largest number of fields, namely 46 fields.
To maintain the cleanliness and comfort of the congregation, the Bandung City Government has prepared 8,781 cleaning staff who will be on duty at various prayer locations.
