PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - West Java Deputy Governor Erwan Setiawan expressed his appreciation for the collaboration between the III/Siliwangi Military Command (Kodam III/Siliwangi), the West Java Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), and TVRI (Indonesian Television Television) in organizing the 2026 Nusantara People's Festival, which involved dozens of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). He stated that MSME involvement should continue to be a part of various activities in West Java, not just ceremonial events.

"I would like to thank Kodam III/Siliwangi and also the West Java Chamber of Commerce and Industry for collaborating in organizing the Nusantara Folk Festival involving 42 MSMEs in West Java," said Erwan after attending the closing of the 2026 Nusantara Folk Festival at Serka Dedy Unadi Field, Kodam III/Siliwangi, Bandung City, Sunday (19/7/2026).

He hopes that similar synergies can continue to be carried out in various activities in West Java.

The 2026 Nusantara Folk Festival will last for 10 days, from July 10 to 19, 2026. This event aims to encourage the growth of local businesses while providing a space for community togetherness through a combination of entertainment, sports, culinary, and the creative economy.

Meanwhile, Commander of the III/Siliwangi Military Command, Major General TNI Kosasih, hopes that the Nusantara People's Festival will continue to grow by involving more MSMEs in the coming years.

"In the future, hopefully, it can grow bigger and more MSMEs will participate," he said.

He also expressed his appreciation to the West Java Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), the committee, and all sponsors for supporting the festival. The Regional Military Commander also congratulated the winners of the painting competition and the U-12 soccer tournament, which were part of the series of activities.

"Hopefully, this activity can improve the achievements of our younger siblings, both in drawing and football, so that in the future we can produce national footballers," said Kosasih.

With the conclusion of the 2026 Nusantara People's Festival series of activities, the Commander of the III/Siliwangi Military Command officially closed the ten-day event, which featured various activities for the community, ranging from an MSME bazaar, entertainment, sports, and educational activities as a forum to strengthen togetherness and encourage local economic growth.
