PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Still in the series of the 214th Anniversary of the City of Bandung (HJKB), the Bandung City Government together with Karang Taruna and a number of communities, held Cibadak Fun Day on October 5-6 (5-6/10/2024), along Jalan Cibadak Lama, Cibadak Village, Astanaanyar District.

This event was enlivened by Pasanggiri Jaipongan, Hawpie Coloring, Fotogenic Contest, Nunda Fashion Week, Pencak Silat and Longser.

There are also Rampak Kendang, Gondang & Debus, Rampak Jaipongan, Kaulinan Barudak Lembur and a Sundanese Fashion Show.

Apart from these activities, there was also the Kampung Barongsai Open 2024, which was held for free.

The competition is to win the Chairman of the Karang Taruna City of Bandung Cup with a prize of up to IDR 3 million.

The activity is a lion dance competition, a traditional lion dance category. Apart from that, there are also Barongsai table attractions and Barongsai Ulin.

One of the visitors, Rahmat (28), said that Cibadak Fun Day 2024 was very exciting.

He admitted that it was very lively, starting from the culinary, barongsai performances to Sundanese culture which was different from other festivals.

"Good, exciting and lively. There are many typical Indonesian snacks too, many choices for sure and a lively performance especially during the Barongsai performance," he said. (Bandung City Communication and Information Service/Revo)
