PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Acting Mayor of Bandung, A. Koswara said the Ciroyom flyover will start operating on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 next week. It is currently still in the finishing stage.

"The flyover is in the finishing stage, all that remains is to complete the deficiencies," said Koswara at the Office of the Food Security and Agriculture Service, Wednesday, October 16, 2024.

This national strategy project from the PUPR Ministry, the Ministry of Transportation, and the Directorate General of KAI, said Koswara, is targeted to be completed in October 2024.

"The target date is October 23rd to be opened. After completion, check the suitability again, then open it," he said.

Meanwhile, Head of the Bandung Class I Railway Engineering Center, Endang Setiawan, said that the flyover in the Andir and Cicendo Districts is planned to be operational this October.

He did not mention the exact date. However, he only turned it off at this time but is still coordinating with a number of stakeholders regarding the completion of traffic facilities on the flyover.

"Regarding signs, lighting and markings. We are currently coordinating with relevant stakeholders and have conducted a field review to ensure the need for signs and markings," he said. (Bandung City Communication and Information Service/Fauziah)
