PORTALJABAR, BEKASI REGENCY - The 2025 Bekasi Regency Community Sports Festival (Forkab) III will be held on April 26-27, 2025 at Gedung Juang 45, South Tambun. This annual event will be a place for the community to show their talents in sports and traditional culture, as well as a means to strengthen friendship and improve the quality of healthy life among Bekasi Regency residents.

Bekasi Deputy Regent Asep Surya Atmaja said that the implementation of Forkab III is an important momentum to raise the spirit of sports among the community. He explained that the Indonesian Community Sports Committee (KORMI) of Bekasi Regency routinely holds this festival as an effort to encourage togetherness and improve public health through sports activities.

"This festival is not only a competition, but also a space to get to know each other, build togetherness, and strengthen the spirit of collectivity," said Asep Surya Atmaja.

Forkab III 2025 also features various competitions involving 15 Parent Sports Organizations (Inorga) spread across 11 locations in Bekasi Regency. Among them, there are pencak silat competitions from PPSI and KPSN, archery from Fespati, and traditional sports preservation competitions from Fortina. This event not only involves adults, but also provides opportunities for the younger generation to participate.

"Forkab III is a positive activity, especially for the younger generation, to build healthy and productive human resources," added the Deputy Regent of Bekasi.

In addition to sports competitions, the festival will also be enlivened by an UMKM bazaar and regional art performances aimed at empowering the local economy. The presence of these various activities makes Forkab III more than just a sporting event, but also a festival that enriches the social and cultural life of the Bekasi community.

Secretary of KORMI Bekasi Regency, Ratu Arisdiana, revealed that the implementation of Forkab III in 2025 received full support from the Department of Culture, Youth, and Sports (Disbudpora) of Bekasi Regency. This allows sports activists from various organizations to carry out this festival optimally.

"Forkab III in 2025 carries the theme 'Moving for a Fit Bekasi Regency' with the tagline 'Rise, Advance, and Prosper'. This is an annual event that provides an opportunity for the community to channel their sports potential in various levels of society," said Ratu.

With various competitions and activities held, Forkab III Bekasi Regency 2025 is expected to be a vehicle to introduce traditional sports and culture while improving the quality of life of a healthy, active and prosperous community.
