PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Bandung City Hall reporters together with the Bandung City Government strengthened ties and synergy through the Bandung Mayor's Cup Journalist x ASN Fun Fishing activity, Saturday, August 29, 2026.

The activity, which took place at Saung Balong Golden Hut, Pamoyanan Village, Mekarmanik Village, Cimenyan District, Bandung Regency, was attended by around 50 participants consisting of journalists and ASN from various regional apparatuses within the Bandung City Government.

The Head of the Bandung City Hall Journalists Association, Prima Perdana, said that the activity provided a space to build togetherness between journalists and civil servants in a more informal atmosphere.

"Alhamdulillah, today we can meet and collaborate between Bandung City Hall Reporters and the Bandung City Government through the Journalist versus Civil Servant Fun Fishing activity," said Prima.

According to him, journalists working in the Bandung City Government cannot be separated from interaction and collaboration with civil servants in carrying out coverage activities.

"Indeed, within our scope of work, we will never be free from the involvement of our fellow civil servants in our coverage and in our own work sector," he said.

Prima hopes that this togetherness can be the beginning of more positive collaborations between the Bandung City Hall Reporters and the Bandung City Government.

"We hope the Bandung City Government can continue to be a partner for our fellow journalists, especially the Bandung City Hall Reporters. Going forward, we want to see more collaboration for positive and beneficial activities for the community," he said.

He explained that this activity wasn't just about fun fishing. Bandung City Hall reporters also participated in social activities such as distributing basic food supplies and planting trees.

"So, it's not just about building relationships, but also about how collaboration between journalists and the government can provide broader benefits to society," he said.

Meanwhile, Bandung City DPRD Member Rendiana Awangga appreciated the activity that brought together journalists and ASN in an informal atmosphere.

According to him, synergy between journalists and ASN needs to be continuously built, not only through formal meetings in carrying out their respective duties.

"This is a form of collaboration that needs to be supported by all groups, including local governments. Synergy between civil servants and journalists needs to be fostered through informal activities like this," said Rendiana.

He believes that such activities can strengthen emotional bonds and build better communication between journalists and the government.

"Emotional bonds like these need to be fostered through collaborative activities, so that communication and synergy can improve in the future," he said.

The Bandung Mayor's Cup Journalist x ASN Fun Fishing event took place in a relaxed and collaborative atmosphere. Besides serving as a means of fostering camaraderie, the event also conveyed the importance of cross-stakeholder collaboration to deliver positive and beneficial activities for the community.
