PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Around 1,000 runners took part in the 5K Fun Run "Run Away From Drugs" held by the Bandung City National Narcotics Agency (BNN), Sunday (30/6/2024).

This event is a collaboration between the Bandung City BNN and PT Paragon Technology And Innovation (Wardah & Kahf) and Grand Yogya Kepatihan, as part of a series of activities commemorating International Anti-Narcotics Day (HANI) 2024.

Not only from the city of Bandung, this competition was attended by running fans from Jakarta, Tangerang, Bekasi, Purwakarta, Sukabumi and Garut.

The route taken starts in front of the Grand Yogya Kepatihan shopping center and finishes at the same place via Jalan Kepatihan - Otista - Taman Tegallega - BKR - Moh. Ramdan - Pungkur - Jalan Dewi Sartika.

Head of Bandung City BNN, Police Commissioner. Mada Roostanto said that this activity was held to promote a healthy, drug-free lifestyle to the community through simple exercise.

“A healthy lifestyle is one of the strongholds for preventing drug abuse. "This activity was held to promote a healthy, drug-free lifestyle to the community with a simple sport, namely running," said Mada.

In line with Mada, Kahf Demand Creation Management Nashirullah Bilhadid said that a healthy lifestyle involves exercising and maintaining food and drink intake that is good for the body, as well as taking care of oneself. According to him, these aspects will increase a person's self-confidence as well as form love for themselves.

Meanwhile, Bandung Regional Manager Regular Yogya Group, Heri Sopriyadi, said that the Fun Run 5K Run Away From Drugs activity was in line with the Yogya Group Motto, namely Wise Family Choice.
