PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. GARUT - Head of Sectoral Statistics Organizing Division, Garut Communication and Information Service (Diskominfo), Egga Mahessa Suardi, said that Garut Regency, in processing sectoral data, supports the implementation of West Java Open Data, where the Garut Satu Data portal has been integrated with West Java Open Data. He conveyed this on Thursday (29/11/2023).

Garut Regency is currently, he added, in the process of integration into One Data Indonesia.

Through this Satu Data Forum, said Egga, his party will coordinate and also strengthen coordination with all Regional Work Units (SKPD), as data producers which can later be uploaded and displayed on the Garut Satu Data portal.

"We have a target that Garut One Data can truly reflect the Indonesian data that is applied in Garut Regency," he added.

In evaluating the implementation of sectoral statistics which is assessed directly by the Central Statistics Agency, Garut Satu Data can make a positive contribution regarding sectoral data management in Garut Regency.

The Garut Satu Data Portal can be accessed via the satudata.garutkab.go.id link. Coordination between OPDs is expected to continue to welcome simultaneous planning in 2025 involving the central, provincial and district/city governments.

Head of the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) as Coordinator of the West Java One Data Forum, Iendra Sofyan, emphasized the urgency of coordination between provinces and districts/cities in data management, in accordance with the president's mandate regarding One Data Indonesia. Iendra underlined the important role of districts/cities as the spearhead in data collection, validation and release.

"We have the principle of good data, good decisions, bad data decisions, at least the justification for the policies (that) we issue is based on data, not just fluff and all kinds of things," he said at the West Java Province Regency/City One Data Scope Forum. 2023, at the Ballroom of the Santika Hotel Garut, Tuesday (28/11/2023).

The event, which was initiated by the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of West Java Province, included representatives from the district/city Communication and Informatics Service (Diskominfo) as data trustees, and district/city BAPPEDA as data forum coordinators.

Iendra said that his party has the task of coordinating this data with districts/cities in West Java Province, because this data comes from districts/cities.

"Well, these districts/cities should be more active, and have an important role as the spearhead for data collection, from mapping, identifying, then collecting, validating and launching by users as such," he said.

He hopes that the Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) in 27 districts/cities in West Java Province can continue to collaborate and learn, to prepare one data in each region, to meet the momentum of simultaneous planning in 2025 carried out by the central, provincial and regional governments. district/city

"The leaders also all start the same, there is no overtaking each other. Hopefully there will be synchronization, meaning starting from data, planning, and God willing, the development of the Republic of Indonesia will occur," he said. (rdp*)
