PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The Bandung City Government is once again presenting Gebyar Bandung Utama to bring various public services closer to the community.

The activity, which entered its third implementation, was held at the West Java TVRI Field, Jalan Cibaduyut, Sunday (20/9/2026).

The activity took place from morning until midday, presenting various services from a number of regional apparatus organizations (OPD) of the Bandung City Government along with other agencies.

Secretary of the Bandung City Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda), Apep Insan Parid, said that Gebyar Bandung Utama is part of the Bandung Unggul Melayani Masyarakat (Bandung Unggul Serving Citizens) movement.

The program emphasizes ease and proximity of service access for the community.

"This Gebyar Utama is a kind of service celebration. The Bandung City Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) is collaborating and synergizing with several Bandung City Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) and agencies outside Bandung," said Apep.

One of the services that has attracted public attention is the Land and Building Tax (PBB) service provided by the Bandung City Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda).

Through this service, the public can take care of their tax administration needs, including the PBB Rengse Sapoe service which allows the administration process to be completed on the same day.

In addition to PBB services, the public can also take advantage of motor vehicle tax payment services through Samsat, document consultations and land issues from the Bandung City Land Office, as well as a number of other services.

The Bandung City Fire and Rescue Service also provides education on preventing and handling minor fires, especially the potential for fires in the home environment, such as those caused by the use of gas stoves.

Meanwhile, the Department of Food Security and Agriculture provides a number of services, ranging from distributing plant and ornamental fish seeds to free animal health checks.

The service also includes pet check-ups such as cats, including sterilization and rabies vaccination.

People can also obtain basic necessities through cheap bazaars presented by the Department of Trade and Industry.

For low-risk individual business actors, DPMPTSP provides a Business Identification Number (NIB) issuance service.

Population administration services are also provided through electronic KTP recording and Digital Population Identity (IKD) activation.

In addition, the public can take advantage of the free health checks provided by the Puter Community Health Center.

The event was also enlivened by local MSMEs from a number of sub-districts offering various home-made food products.

Meanwhile, for children, there is entertainment and games available, including a flying fox ride.

For the public, the implementation of Gebyar Bandung Utama on holidays provides convenience because services can be accessed without leaving work activities on weekdays.

One of them was Widiani, a resident of Muhammad Toha, Bandung, who took advantage of the activity to pay PBB and also take part in a health check.

"It makes things easier. It doesn't have to be a weekday, as it sometimes clashes with regular work. On weekends like this, we can use the time off to exercise," he said.

Widiani believes that the presence of a number of services in one location allows people to fulfill several needs at once.

Apart from paying PBB, he also took the opportunity to have a health check, including a blood sugar check.

Tia, a Cibaduyut resident, expressed a similar sentiment. She admitted that the PBB services provided during the event were helpful because she considered the process more practical.

"Thank God, there's been a reduction. Those who didn't know before now know. Now it's done in a day. It's much easier and more practical," he said.

According to Tia, previously there were certain conditions that required the PBB payment process to be carried out at certain service locations.

With services that are closer to the community, the process becomes easier.

He also hopes that similar activities will continue to provide accessible health services to the public, including eye exams. (ziz)
