Bandung City Regional Secretary, Iskandar Zulkarnain, stated that this activity provides a real space for workers, employers, and the government to present employment solutions that have a direct impact on residents.
"Through this momentum, let us strengthen collaboration between workers, entrepreneurs, and the government as facilitators to jointly realize a superior Bandung," said Iskandar.
The Head of the Bandung City Manpower Office, Yayan Ahmad Brilyana, explained that the May Day series began on May 1, 2026, including the departure of thousands of workers to Jakarta, which took place in an orderly manner without disrupting community activities.
"This Bandung city-wide May Day celebration is the result of collaboration between workers, employers, and the government. We uphold the spirit of prosperous workers, advanced employers, and an authoritative government as a joint effort to realize a superior Bandung," said Yayan.
Activities provide population services, employment services, blood donations, and orphanage assistance, thus providing direct benefits to workers and the surrounding community.
Participants also took part in a healthy walk and a cleanliness drive through the Bandung Asri movement, which resulted in a cleaner and more comfortable environment for residents.
