PORTALJABAR, GARUT REGENCY - In the midst of the weekend excitement at the Ciplaz Garut Amphitheater, hundreds of kindergarten children and teachers gathered in a cheerful atmosphere. Saturday (4/26/2025).
The Indonesian Kindergarten Teachers Association (IGTKI) of the Indonesian Teachers Association (PGRI) of Garut Regency held the Kindergarten Teacher and Student Achievement Festival, an event that not only showcases talents, but also strengthens the bonds between teachers, students, and parents.
Officially opened by the Head of Early Childhood Education and Community Education Division of the Garut Regency Education Office, Entib Satibi, this activity received high appreciation.
This activity is not just a competition, but an effort to shape character and improve the professionalism of teachers in educating children.
"So how to teach well, how to guide children well," said Entib.
He hopes that through this activity, both teachers and students can be more creative in developing their respective potential.
Carrying the theme "Together Realizing a Creative, Independent, Character-based Generation Towards a Golden Indonesia," Gebyar Prestasi is a special momentum to commemorate the 76th Anniversary of IGTKI PGRI, Kartini Day, National Education Day, and Garut Anniversary.
More than 800 students and 400 teachers took part in various competitions, from completing pictures, pildacil, to singing duets between parents and children. The atmosphere became even more lively when teachers took action in the Sundanese biantara competition, content creators, to the Great Indonesian Children gymnastics.
Chair of the Committee, Iis Rismayati, said that this event was designed to provide space for children to grow in a fun and meaningful atmosphere.
"This competition aims to realize appreciation for the process of child growth and development that is fun, full of creativity and rich in meaning," he said. (Diskominfo Garut/Fau)
