PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The Head of the West Java Provincial Financial Services Authority, Darwisman, encouraged Sharia Financial Services Business Actors to make the 1447 Hijriah Sharia Financial Ramadan Festival a success to increase public literacy and inclusion on February 19, 2026 at the West Java Provincial Financial Services Authority Office.

Darwisman emphasized that this campaign is aimed at strengthening the Islamic financial ecosystem and protecting citizens from illegal financial practices.

He said that the public needs to understand the basic principles of sharia products so that they can transact and invest safely in accordance with religious provisions.

The program presents KURMA or the Islamic Finance Competition in the month of Ramadan which invites the younger generation to create educational content through social media.

In addition, KOLAK or Studies and Discussions on Sharia Finance are held in the form of studies, dialogues, and training with religious leaders and academics.

The West Java Provincial Financial Services Authority, along with industry players, will hold literacy activities in various districts and cities to expand educational reach.

This step is expected to increase the use of Islamic financial services while strengthening consumer protection in the region.
