PORTALJABAR, BEKASI REGENCY - West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi will renovate Babelan Market in Bekasi Regency. This was said by KDM –Dedi's nickname– when he saw the market located in North Tambun, Bekasi Regency, Thursday (13/3/2025).
After talking with the head of the Babelan Market UPTD, traders and the Regent of Bekasi, Dedi inspected the inside of the Babelan Market.
"This has to be renovated first, then the provincial government will help with the financing," said Dedi.
Dedi asked for immediate renovations so that traders can sell comfortably. In addition, to overcome the waste problem in Babelan Market, Dedi also proposed a solution by procuring a waste incinerator.
"Here, the garbage is piling up because it was late in being transported to the landfill due to the queue of garbage trucks at the landfill. So it would be better to provide a garbage incinerator so that the garbage does not need to be transported to the landfill," he said.
Currently, Dedi is focused on solving several problems that cause flooding in Bekasi Regency, such as demolishing illegal buildings on river banks and cleaning up garbage in rivers.
