PORTALJABAR, DEPOK CITY - The Governor of West Java, Dedi Mulyadi, officially confirmed the Chairperson of the West Java Province TP PKK and inaugurated the West Java TP PKK Management, at the Dibaleka Building, Depok City Hall, Tuesday (11/3/2025).

KDM – Dedi Mulyadi’s nickname, emphasized the importance of the role of TP PKK in implementing sustainable programs that focus on children’s education and health, especially in rural areas. He emphasized that primary attention should be given to families with lower-middle economic conditions.

"West Java Province will provide stimulus to PKK at the district/city level with special handling focused on health, including efforts to prevent stunting, environmental cleanliness, and education," he said.

As part of efforts to improve education, Kang Dedi said the West Java Provincial Government will implement the Free People's School program, which is a priority policy of President Prabowo Subianto. This program is expected to provide more equal access to education for all children in West Java.

Not only that, in order to support the balance between career and family for female employees, Kang Dedi also announced a new policy that allows female employees in the West Java Provincial Government to bring their children to work. This policy will be supported by the provision of children's playroom facilities in every government office.

"The policy is that female employees are allowed to bring their children to work, and each office has a children's playroom," he said.

Inaugurated TP PKK in 26 districts/cities throughout West Java

Meanwhile, on the same occasion, the Chairperson of TP PKK West Java, Siska Gerfianti, officially inaugurated the Chairpersons of TP PKK from 26 districts/cities in West Java.

On that occasion, Siska said that PKK and Posyandu have a vital role in community development. She stated that synergy between PKK, Posyandu, and local government is the key to supporting the priority programs of the West Java Provincial Government in various fields, especially education and health.

"PKK and Posyandu are two main pillars in community development. We are committed to improving the quality of life of families through various programs in the fields of education and health," said Siska Gerfianti.

He also reminded all TP PKK district/city chairs to continue to accelerate the implementation of central and regional government programs with a spirit of mutual cooperation.

"The duties and functions of the PKK driver are a strategic role that needs to be carried out to accelerate in accordance with the central government and regional government programs with the principle of mutual cooperation," he concluded.

This inauguration event is an important momentum for TP PKK throughout West Java to be more active in contributing to regional development, by prioritizing the principle of mutual cooperation and community welfare as the main goal.
