PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - To maintain the smoothness and reliability of electricity supply during Idul Fitri 1445 H 2024, PT PLN West Java Distribution Main Unit simultaneously inaugurated 50 SPKLU (Public Electric Vehicle Charging Stations) in the West Java region.

General Manager of PT PLN UID West Java Susiana Mutia said, PLN UID West Java is present and participating in the 2024 customer homecoming, especially for homecoming travelers who use electric vehicles or "EVs".

"PLN UID West Java is simultaneously presenting 51 new SPKLU at 23 rest area points on the 2024 homecoming route. These 51 SPKLU will be directly integrated with the Charge.IN application and also the New PLN Mobile," said Susiana, when inaugurating the SPKLU at Rest Area 149 B Tegalluar, Bojongsoang District.

According to Susiana, with the addition of 51 SPKLUs spread across 22 points, the total existing SPKLUs will now be 200 SPKLUs. And the current SPKLU can be used by various types of vehicles and existing vehicle brands.

"The number of 200 SPKLU is good enough and can help the people who will use it. With various capacities, ranging from 200 KW to 7 KW," said Susiana.

According to Susiana, apart from adding SPKLU, to provide a sense of security to people returning home, her party has also established a standby post.

"For Eid 2024, we have established posts in a number of locations totaling 313 posts," he said. (Parno)
