PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi held a halalbihalal with the Pasundan Association Family at the Mandala Saba dr. Djoendjoenan Pasundan Association Building, Bandung City, Saturday (12/4/2025).

Also attending the event were Attorney General ST Burhanuddin, Deputy Minister of Primary and Secondary Education Atip Latipulhayat, former Governor of West Java, regional heads throughout West Java, and dozens of Sundanese figures.

Dedi said, silaturahmi with Sundanese Figures is important for the progress of West Java and Indonesia. Moreover, Paguyuban Pasundan has a high cultural spirit.

"This is the spirit of culture, and the Pasundan Association is laying the foundations of culture," said Dedi.

"We are building the spirit that the Sundanese aspect must have benefits for Indonesianness, that is the most important thing," he added.

According to KDM – Dedi Mulyadi's nickname, currently, many Sundanese figures are active at the national level. He said that Sundanese figures must show good performance and be role models for others.

"Those from Sunda must demonstrate good performance and be an example for others," said Dedi.

Meanwhile, the General Chairperson of the Pasundan Association Didi Turmudzi said that in addition to strengthening the role of Sundanese Figures, the gathering also focused on building the crisis of language and symbols that were almost lost. He was also optimistic that the presence of West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi would bring spirit and motivate residents to be aware of their culture.

"The presence of the Governor of West Java will motivate residents to be aware of their culture," said Didi.

Didi said that the Pasundan Association had agreed to cooperate with the West Java Provincial Government to build a 50-hectare Sundanese cultural center near Kertajati Airport, Majalengka.
