PORTALJABAR, BEKASI REGENCY - The Bekasi Regency Government affirmed its commitment to strengthening synergy with the Police to maintain security and support public services on the 80th Bhayangkara Day (July 1, 2026).

Regional Secretary Endin Samsudin stated that this collaboration is an important part of realizing a Resurgent, Advanced, and Prosperous Bekasi Regency.

"The synergy between the Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda) is a form of strengthening our support for the realization of a Resurgent, Advanced, and Prosperous Bekasi Regency. In the spirit of the 80th Bhayangkara Day and the National Police's Precision, we hope that services and security can be balanced so that the public feels safe and well-served," he said.

Endin explained that the synergy between the Bekasi Regency Government and the Bekasi Metro Police has been realized through the regulation of illegal buildings, social ill-health operations, and environmental cleanup activities.

"There has been a great deal of collaboration, from clearing illegal buildings and combating social ills to cleaning activities and various other joint efforts," he said.

Acting Chief of Bekasi Metro Police, Senior Commissioner of Police Alin Kuncoro, said the 80th Bhayangkara Day was a momentum to improve the quality of service to the public.

According to Alin, the theme "Police for the Community" emphasizes that fast, responsive, and humane service is the main measure of police success.

"Our paradigm has shifted from security to service. Today, the public not only needs a sense of security, but also requires police who are present, responsive, and easily accessible," he said.

Alin instructed all personnel to strengthen their presence in the community, maintain professionalism, and increase synergy with local governments and all stakeholders.

"As the Indonesian National Police (Polri) celebrates its 80th anniversary, let us reaffirm our commitment to continue providing the best possible service, ensuring its continued professionalism and public trust," he concluded.
