PORTALJABAR, BEKASI REGENCY - The Bekasi Regency Government appreciates the Student Band Festival and the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Festival which opened up space for creativity among the younger generation and encouraged economic growth in the community (June 24, 2026).

The activity in the context of the 80th Bhayangkara Day was held in the yard of the Gedung Juang 45 Museum, Bekasi, Tambun Selatan District.

The festival serves as a platform for collaboration between the police, local government, students, and micro, small, and medium enterprises in supporting regional development.

Bekasi Acting Regent Asep Surya Atmaja said the activity provided real benefits for the younger generation and local business actors.

"This festival is concrete evidence that the spirit of Bhayangkara Day is not only manifested through devotion to maintaining public security and order, but also through efforts to build closeness with the community, encourage the creativity of the younger generation, and support the growth of the people's economy through empowering MSMEs," said Asep.

According to him, Bekasi Regency has great human resource potential, especially among students who need space to develop their talents.

The Student Band Festival is considered a positive means to build self-confidence, character, and a healthy competitive spirit.

"This Student Band Festival is a positive platform for channeling artistic talent, strengthening character, increasing self-confidence, and building a healthy competitive spirit among students," he said.

Asep appreciated all participants who had shown their best abilities during the competition.

He hopes that the experience gained by participants can be a motivation to continue working and achieving success in the future.

"I truly appreciate all the participants who bravely performed and demonstrated their best abilities. Whoever achieves the best results in this competition, I hope they will use it as motivation to continue working and achieving," he said.

In addition to showcasing students' creativity, the event also featured dozens of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) with various superior products.

The participation of business actors provides opportunities to increase product promotion and marketing to the attending public.

Asep emphasized that the Bekasi Regency Government continues to support the development of micro, small, and medium enterprises through marketing development and digitalization.

"The presence of MSMEs demonstrates that development must involve all elements of society. The Bekasi Regency Government is committed to supporting MSME development through coaching, digital marketing, and expanding partnerships so that MSMEs can advance in class and compete more broadly," he emphasized.

On this occasion, Bekasi Metro Police Chief Sumarni also said goodbye to the community before attending further education.

Sumarni expressed her appreciation for the community's support while carrying out her duties in Bekasi Regency.

"I would like to thank all the people of Bekasi Regency for giving me the opportunity to serve in Bekasi Regency. I still love Bekasi Regency, but I must continue my duties. I apologize for any mistakes and shortcomings during my tenure," said Sumarni.
