PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - To celebrate the 214th Anniversary of Bandung City (HJKB 214) and World Rabies Day 2024, the Bandung City Government held a vaccination for Rabies Carrier Animals (HPR).

Like the HPR vaccination this time for cats, dogs and monkeys and ferrets.

The activity was carried out from 3 - 25 September 2024. There were 23 clinics or veterinarians to carry out the vaccination.

"This is a form of collaboration to improve services and convenience for Bandung City residents for rabies vaccination," said Head of Animal Husbandry and Animal Health, Bandung City DKPP, Wilsandi Saefuloh.

He added that the animal vaccination time is from 09.00 - 12.00 WIB for cats, dogs, monkeys and ferrets.

"So for Bandung residents, note the time and place. This is held free of charge," he explained.

Regarding the registration procedure, directly contact the animal clinic or veterinarian according to the list. In addition, the quota for each animal clinic or veterinarian.

The requirements for registering for HPR vaccination include:

1. Animals in healthy and malnourished condition
2. Have a Bandung City ID card
3. 1 KTP can only register 1 animal
4. Animals that transmit rabies come from local or domestic breeds.
5. The animal must be at least 4 months old
