PORTALJABAR, CIMAHI CITY - Acting Governor of West Java Bey Machmudin said Cimahi City has great potential in the fields of education, economy and digital to progress together with West Java.

Momentum for the 23rd Anniversary of Cimahi City, Bey asked stakeholders to work together for the welfare of residents. In this case, the West Java Provincial Government is ready to collaborate with the Cimahi City Regional Government.

Bey said this at the Cimahi City DPRD Plenary Meeting in commemoration of the 23rd Anniversary of Cimahi City at the Cimahi City DPRD Building, Friday (21/6/2024).

The theme for this year's anniversary is 'Cimahi Campernik' which according to Bey reflects the enthusiasm and strong determination of Cimahi residents to build a safe, comfortable and prosperous city.

"It's safe because Cimahi has a long history as a military education city that instills values of discipline and self-discipline," said Bey Machmudin.

As a new autonomous region that was formed 23 years ago, according to Bey, Cimahi has shown significant progress and contributed significantly to the West Java regional economy.

"In this 23 year journey, Cimahi has shown extraordinary development. Better infrastructure, excellent public services and progress in various sectors," said Bey.

However, Bey reminded that there is still a lot of work to be done together, namely poverty, unemployment, waste, stunting and social inequality.

"We must continue to work hard and join hands to create a better Cimahi in the future," said Bey.

"To achieve this, we must ensure that every development step is carried out in a participatory and sustainable manner," he added.

Bey invited all Cimahi City people to continue to work together, work together and contribute to the city's development.

"Let's make the momentum of this anniversary a reflection of Cimahi City's long journey, together we can make Cimahi a developed, superior and sustainable city," concluded Bey.
