PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Acting Chair of the Family Empowerment and Welfare Movement Team (TP PKK) of Bandung City, Mintarsih Koswara, said that TTP PKK is the main driving force in mobilizing cadres and establishing coordination and synergy with stakeholders. Both with the government and institutions in accordance with laws and regulations.

He made this statement during the 2024 PKK Unity Movement Day event at the Multipurpose Building, Bandung City Hall, Thursday (11/21/2024).

He explained that this year's theme is 'Moving Together with PKK, Realizing Prosperous Families Towards Advanced Indonesia'. Moving together means the simultaneous movement of PKK cadres working together with various stakeholders to realize family welfare.

"We can develop PKK programs in our respective regions, so that they are always in line with government programs," said Mintarsih while reading the speech of the General Chairperson of TP PKK, Tri Tito Karnavian.

There are 3 things that need attention from all parties, including;

1. Strengthen understanding of the philosophy of family empowerment and welfare.

2. Optimizing the Potential of Community Movements to synergize with the government in accelerating national and regional development.

3. PKK's achievements in implementing the PKK Movement Master Plan for 2021-2024.

"Family empowerment is in principle a strategic step taken by PKK cadres to improve family welfare as a whole. Conceptually, family empowerment is an effort to improve the dignity and status of the family," explained Mintarsih.

He said that the PKK movement is a national movement in community development that grows from below.

This, according to him, is in line with the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 36 of 2020 concerning the Implementing Regulations of Presidential Regulation Number 99 of 2017 concerning the PKK Movement as a government partner.

"By involving the role of TP PKK, government programs at the regional level can be more integrated and effective. PKK cadres have a strategic role in supporting government work programs, education, health, cooperative life to environmental sustainability, and healthy planning," he explained.
