PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. BOGOR - The Bogor Regency Regional Government (Pemdakab) held a ceremony to commemorate the 95th Youth Pledge Day.

This year's Youth Pledge Day is interpreted as a momentum to raise the spirit of collaboration to advance the country. The ceremony was led by Dandim 0621 Bogor Regency, Lt. Col. Kav. Gan Gan Rusgandara, at the Firm Faith Field, Cibinong, Saturday (28/10/2023).

The 95th Youth Pledge Day commemoration in 2023 carries the theme "Together Advancing Indonesia" with a meaningful logo forming a stylized line of people symbolizing collaboration and colors showing ethnic, linguistic and cultural diversity. This heterogeneity is a source of strength in advancing Indonesia.

Dandim 0621 Bogor Regency, Lt. Col. Kav. Gan Gan Rusgandara said that the commemoration of Youth Pledge Day (HSP) reminds the Indonesian people of the history of mutual cooperation between all elements of youth which succeeded in spreading the spirit of patriotism while uniting the national vision in the 1928 Youth Pledge.

"What gives birth to a commitment is to shed the blood of one Indonesian homeland, one Indonesian nation, and upholding the unified language of Indonesian. "Let us make the momentum of commemorating the 95th Youth Pledge Day a momentum to raise the spirit of collaboration in advancing the country," he said.

He also said that every young person needs to have a vision, mission and strategic role for the next 30 years so that development can progress more quickly. The most effective strategy is to help across generations and work together across sectors, mastering Information Technology and Digital Literacy by young people is something that must be taken seriously.

"On this Youth Pledge Day, we must convey the determination of all stakeholders including Ministries and Institutions, Provincial Governments, Regency/City Governments, Youth Organizations, Communities and other elements towards achieving the Youth Development Index (IPP)," he said.

The Daily Chair of the Bogor Regency KNPI DPD, Arof Akbar, said that the KNPI has high hopes for the youth in Bogor Regency to have good quality education and human resources. To make this happen, the DPD KNPI Bogor Regency continues to synergize and collaborate with the Bogor Regency Government at the district, sub-district and village levels.

"We will welcome the bonus of democracy and create a golden Indonesia in 2024, everything must be prepared from today. "For the youth of Bogor Regency, continue to carry out productive activities that are beneficial to society, especially the youth," he said.

The ceremony was attended by elements of the TNI, Polri, Bogor Regional Government, youth organizations and organizations in the Bogor Regency community. Present at the event were the Regional Secretary, Head of the Bogor Regency District Prosecutor's Office, Head of the Bogor Regency BNN, representatives of the Bogor Police, representatives of ATS Air Base, Head of Bank BJB Cibinong Branch, heads of regional apparatus, sub-district heads, Daily Chair of the DPD KNPI Bogor Regency, representatives of TP PKK and IWAPI Bogor Regency.
