PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - West Java Regional Secretary Herman Suryatman invited all district and city secretaries to align bureaucratic movements to make the Central and Provincial Government programs a success.

Taking place at the West Java Bappeda office, Jalan Ir. Djuanda, Bandung City, Thursday (24/4/2025), Regional Secretary Herman led a coordination meeting attended by regional secretaries from 27 regencies and cities in West Java.

"This meeting is so that the 27 districts/cities have the same view," said Herman Suryatman.

There are a number of priority programs that must be accelerated by the bureaucratic apparatus in the regions. Among them, the formation of village or sub-district cooperatives is part of the Central program, the Red and White Cooperative.

Then, evaluate the RTRW for both provinces, districts and cities so that development is harmonious and sustainable.

The thing that is emphasized is that there will be no more land conversion: such as protected forests becoming production forests and agrotourism, or rice fields becoming housing and commercial areas.

According to Herman, the success of development at the provincial level depends on the district/city level, and is also determined by success at the village/sub-district level, and so on down to the RT/RW level.

Authority, he said, is a tool to ensure orderly governance, and for the community, the most important thing is increasing welfare.

"The regional head is the decision maker , but the one who rationalizes it bureaucratically is the regional secretary and below. So if the regional secretary is sluggish , the head of the department is sluggish ," he said.

"We are a superteam ," concluded Herman.
