PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. SUMEDANG - West Java Regional Secretary Herman Suryatman hopes that Winaya Mukti University can create a superior and competent generation of young leaders who will be leaders in the agricultural sector.

"Let's create (graduates) at Unwim who are future leaders. Especially in the agricultural sector which is Unwim's focus," said Herman Suryatman while attending Unwim's 34th Anniversary at the Unwim Campus, Sumedang Regency, Tuesday (6/8/2024) .

Herman said that Unwim has agricultural advantages compared to other universities in West Java.

"We (West Java) have an agricultural spirit with Unwim, this is extraordinary capital. Hopefully the 34th anniversary of Unwim will be a momentum," said Herman.

Herman believes that Unwim will become a university with a mission for the future. For this reason, he hopes that the vision created is not just normative but can shake up the world of agricultural education.

"So I have confidence that Unwim will progress, it must have a future vision, because that is the right vision. What's scary, if the vision is ordinary, it's a lie," he said.

"This is mutual progress, because agricultural matters are important. Advancing Unwim to become a world class university," concluded Herman.
