PORTALJABAR, GARUT REGENCY - The Garut Regency Government (Pemkab) received a Deed of Release of Land Rights from the community to support the development of the Pasundan Community Health Center under the auspices of the Garut Regency Health Office.
The handover of the deed was carried out directly by Ato Hermanto to the Regent of Garut, Abdusy Syakur Amin, on the sidelines of the joint roll call at the Regional Secretariat Field, Jalan Pembangunan, Tarogong Kidul District, Garut Regency, Monday (8/6/2026).
The Regent of Garut expressed his appreciation to Ato Hermanto and his family for their concern and contribution in supporting the improvement of health services for the people of Garut Regency.
"The first relates to the transfer of ownership rights from Mr. Ato Hermanto and his family. We believe the land is very important and strategic, and it's one of a kind," he said.
The Garut Regent assessed the land donation as having strategic value because it could support plans for more optimal health facility development. The land is expected to improve the quality of health services for the community using the Pasundan Community Health Center.
"If there aren't four in one place, it's just there. And I saw on the list that there's almost 387 m², if I'm not mistaken. That's probably worth almost a billion, maybe even more. This is one form of his concern for his family, for all of us, the Garut Regency Government, to help us improve the quality of health services for the people of Garut," he said.
The Regent of Garut hopes that the steps taken by Ato Hermanto's family can inspire the community to contribute to regional development according to their respective abilities and fields.
"So this can be an example for all of us, yes, even though we are not in the government environment, we can provide service to the community," concluded the Garut Regent.
The Garut Regency Government, through the Health Office, will follow up on the grant as part of its efforts to develop the Pasundan Community Health Center (Puskesmas) to provide more convenient, adequate, and high-quality healthcare services to the community.
