PORTALJABAR, BOGOR REGENCY - The Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Bogor Regency, Ajat Rochmat Jatnika opened and participated in the 5.5 km Chasing Bogor Run 2025 running event, in Sentul Babakan Madang, Sunday (12/1/2025).

According to him, this was an extraordinary experience to be able to run while enjoying the beautiful and cool scenery of Bogor Regency.

The Chairman of the Bogor Regency DPRD, Sastra Winara and the Chairman of the Indonesian Community Sports Committee (KORMI) of Bogor Regency, Rieke Iskandar also attended the lively event.

Chasing Bogor Run is a pre-event activity for Bogor Run 2025 which will be held on May 11, 2025. It is planned to be attended by around 3,000 runners from Bogor Regency and its surroundings, with the categories Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K.

Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Bogor Regency, Ajat Rochmat Jatnika, said that Bogor Run 2025 is a very positive activity, the Bogor Regency Government (Pemkab) will fully support the activity which will be held next May.

"My experience of running in the Bogor Run 2025 pre-event was very exciting and extraordinary, we could run while enjoying the beautiful and cool scenery of Bogor Regency," said Ajat.

Ajat invited the people of Bogor Regency to be more enthusiastic about exercising, getting used to a clean and healthy lifestyle, so that their quality of life improves. He also invited them to advance running sports in Bogor Regency.

The Head of KORMI Bogor Regency, Rieke Iskandar explained that Bogor Run 2025 was held with the aim of popularizing sports, if the community is used to exercising, God willing, the quality of human resources in Bogor Regency will be better.

"Through Bogor Run 2025, we also want to bring the name of Bogor Regency to the national stage. With the experience of running while enjoying the beautiful scenery, so that people flock to Bogor Regency," explained Rieke.

Rieke added, of course with thousands of people coming to participate in this activity, it will have an impact on tourism and the economy in Bogor Regency. The community is healthier and Bogor Regency is more widely known in running events. (Diskominfo Kab. Bogor/Fauziah)
