PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Based on data from the Bandung City Central Statistics Agency (BPS) as of 1 December 2023, controlling inflation in the City of Bandung in November 2023 has had a significant impact on several sectors, such as reducing poverty and open unemployment.

Bandung City month-to-month inflation data for October 2023 was 0.22 percent. This figure is smaller compared to West Java inflation of 0.36 percent and national inflation of 0.38 percent.

In month to month inflation, the five market commodities that contribute to inflation include cayenne pepper, red chili, shallots, purebred chicken eggs and rice.

Meanwhile, year on year (YoY) inflation in November 2022 was 2.36 percent. This figure is below West Java's year on year (YoY) inflation of 2.85 percent and national inflation of 2.86 percent.
