PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The Bandung City Manpower Office (Disnaker) held a Virtual Job Fair on September 30, 2026 with 359 vacancies from six companies.

This activity opens up access for job seekers to obtain information and apply for jobs online through the New BIMMA platform.

The Head of the Bandung City Manpower Office, Yayan A. Brilyana, said that virtual services expand the reach of job vacancy information for the public.

"This activity is not only a means of conveying job vacancy information, but also part of a strategy to encourage increased workforce absorption in Bandung City," said Yayan on September 28, 2026.

Through these digital services, job seekers can find opportunities that match their competencies, experience, and interests without having to come in person.

The use of digital systems also adapts employment services to the recruitment patterns of companies that increasingly use online platforms.

Yayan hopes that meetings between companies and job seekers will be more effective, resulting in more optimal job placement.

This service is part of the Bandung City Government's efforts to expand employment opportunities and support a reduction in the unemployment rate.

Job seekers need to prepare application documents and carefully examine the qualifications for each position before submitting an application.

To participate in the Virtual Job Fair, job seekers need to create a New BIMMA account through the official website of the Bandung City Manpower Office.

After having an account, participants can apply for Job Fair tickets, obtain receipts, and then complete the New BIMMA profile.

On the day of the event, vacancies from participating companies are available and can be applied for directly through the platform.

The Virtual Job Fair series can also be watched through the official YouTube channels of the Bandung City Manpower Office and the Bandung City Communications and Information Office.
