
PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The city of Bandung not only attracts the hearts of travelers, but also investors from various countries. It is proven that in 2023 the investment achievements of the City of Bandung will exceed the target.
Head of the Bandung City Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Service (DPMPTSP), Ronny Ahmad Nurudin, said that of the investment target of IDR 7.25 trillion, IDR 8.54 trillion or 117.79 percent was achieved.
"When compared to 2022, this has experienced a significant increase. In 2022 the target was IDR 6.65 trillion. Realized IDR 7.79 trillion," said Ronny, Wednesday (31/1/2024).
The 2022 investment details consist of foreign investment (PMA) of IDR 3.86 trillion and domestic investment (PMDN) of IDR 3.93 trillion.
Meanwhile, in 2023, the realization consists of PMA of IDR 4.176 trillion or 48.91 percent and PMDN of IDR 4.363 trillion or 51.09 percent.
"Some of the capital investment came from business activities totaling 12,342 projects and 12,946 workers," he said.
The five largest investment sectors in the city of Bandung include transportation, warehouses and telecommunications, which reached IDR 3.8 trillion. Second, the chemical and pharmaceutical industry reached IDR 1.2 trillion.
Third, housing, industrial areas and offices reached IDR 736 billion. Fourth, other services Rp. 720 billion. Lastly, the hotel and restaurant sector reached IDR 524 billion.
"Apart from Indonesia, there are 5 countries that have invested the most in the city of Bandung, namely China, Singapore, Malaysia and Seychelles, Africa," he added.
Then, there are the 5 largest investment projects in Bandung City. The largest was achieved by the Indonesia China Fast Train (KCIC) project amounting to IDR 2.2 trillion. Followed by the Bio Farma, XL Axiata, Indosat and Eternal Success Era projects.
"In 2024, we are targeting investment in Bandung City of IDR 7.3 trillion," he said.
Ronny also revealed that there were obstacles when coordinating with investors. However, all of this can be resolved with services made easier by DPMPTSP.
"There are several business actors who do not understand and comply with regulations. From us there is technical guidance and supervision which also goes directly to business actors in accordance with the Perka from the Ministry of Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM)/Investment," he said.
His party also continues to carry out socialization both on social media and inviting business actors regarding licensing, supervision and procedures for reporting investment activity reports (LKPM).
"We are socializing it through technical guidance and LKPM clinics specifically for investors to guide filling," he said.
To make it easier for investors to carry out activities and invest capital, the Bandung City Government issued two special regional regulations (Perda), namely Regional Regulation number 5 of 2022 concerning Spatial Planning and Regional Regulation number 4 of 2022 concerning the Implementation of Capital Investment.
"We also provide OSS-assisted services, Sakedap services (Licensing Facility Facilities) in sub-districts and market industrial centers for micro business actors," he said.
Apart from that, he added, the Bandung City Government also presents the Invest Bandung page to see the potential and investment opportunities in the City of Bandung. (rdp*)
