PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The Bandung City Government is opening investment opportunities in various sectors through Investor Day 2026 on August 19, 2026, at the Grandia Hotel, Bandung.

The activity was held by the Bandung City Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Agency (DPMPTSP) to accelerate investment realization.

Investor Day 2026 is the second series of the Investment Trilogy that brings together the government, business actors, and potential investors directly.

Carrying the theme "Bridging Vision and Opportunity for Bandung City's Investment Future", the activity offers government and non-government projects.

Bandung Mayor Muhammad Farhan is scheduled to open the event with the Director of Promotion Development of the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Rakhmat Yulianto.

The Bandung City Government is offering Sekemala Integrated Farming, pedestrian bridge (JPO) infrastructure, and Bike Share Shelter to potential investors.

Other opportunities include the Pasir Kunci Creative Tourism Village and the Sadang Serang Flats as regional government asset projects.

Meanwhile, non-government assets include the Quinine Factory Complex and shophouses of PT Kimia Farma (Persero) Tbk as well as IFG Life assets.

Investor Day 2026 brings together Foreign Direct Investment (PMA) investors, Domestic Direct Investment (PMDN), banking investors, and business actors.

The meeting also involved the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM, the West Java Provincial Government, business associations, regional-owned enterprises (BUMD), state-owned enterprises (BUMN), and the private sector.

Prospective investors can attend one-on-one meeting sessions to discuss collaboration opportunities directly with project owners.

The activity also garnered investment interest and commitment through the Expression of Interest (EOI) mechanism as a step towards cooperation.

The Bandung City Government is targeting these investment opportunities to develop into collaborations that create jobs and stimulate the economy.

New investments are also expected to increase the competitiveness of Bandung City through the productive utilization of assets and economic potential.
