PORTALJABAR, GARUT REGENCY - Garut Regent Abdusy Syakur Amin opened the 2026 West Java Export Champion Capacity Building to help MSMEs penetrate the international market.

The activities of the Bank Indonesia Representative Office for West Java Province took place at the Ballroom of the Santika Garut Hotel, Tarogong Kaler, (10/8/2026).

The program provides training and mentoring to business actors to increase business capacity and product competitiveness.

"On this occasion, I would like to thank Mr. Jun for choosing Garut and inviting Garut entrepreneurs to participate in this activity," said Abdusy Syakur Amin.

Abdusy Syakur believes that the involvement of local entrepreneurs is crucial for expanding export access and creating job opportunities for the community.

"Hopefully, in the future, there will be more collaboration between the Garut Regency Government and the West Java representative office of Bank Indonesia," he said.

Head of Bank Indonesia Representative Office for West Java Province, Junanto Herdiawan, appreciated the support of the Garut Regency Government for the development of community businesses.

"Hopefully, with this activity, MSMEs in Garut can move up a class and, of course, be able to export to increase workforce absorption," said Junanto.

This training and mentoring helps business actors improve their business capabilities so that local products can compete in the international market.

The West Java Export Champion 2026 program also opens up opportunities for MSMEs to expand their markets while increasing employment in the region.
