PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The West Java Provincial Government received recognition from Kompas TV for its positive investment climate. The award was presented during Kompas TV's 15th anniversary celebrations at the Bidakara Hotel in Jakarta on Wednesday evening (September 9, 2026).

The award was received by West Java Regional Secretary Herman Suryatman, who represented West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi. In addition to West Java, Jakarta and North Maluku also received awards in the same category.

Herman said that the appreciation from Kompas TV was both recognition and encouragement for the West Java Provincial Government to continue creating a conducive investment climate.

"Thank God, West Java Province received an award for regional appreciation for its commitment to the investment climate," said Herman.

According to Regional Secretary Herman, this appreciation aligns with West Java's investment performance, which continues to show growth. In 2025, West Java's realized investment reached Rp296.8 trillion, an increase of approximately 30 percent compared to the previous year's Rp251 trillion.

"This achievement demonstrates investor confidence in West Java as a potential investment destination. This is inseparable from the Governor's leadership, supported by the West Java Provincial Legislative Council (DPRD), the Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda), and all West Java residents," he said.

He added that the West Java Provincial Government will continue to maintain this momentum by strengthening the investment climate and providing convenience for businesses. He believes investment growth must continue to be directed to benefit the economy and people of West Java.

Herman also expressed his appreciation to Kompas TV for the award given, as well as to all parties who have contributed to maintaining the investment climate in West Java.

"We dedicate this appreciation to the people of West Java," said Regional Secretary Herman.

With the continuously growing investment achievements and this appreciation, the West Java Provincial Government is committed to maintaining West Java as a competitive investment destination while ensuring that incoming investments can have a positive impact on development and community welfare.
