PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - West Java Provincial Government has succeeded in becoming 1st place recipient of the 2023 IDIA (Indonesia Digital Initiative Award) in the category of Best Website at Provincial Level 2023.

Head of the West Java Communication and Information Service (Diskominfo), Ika Mardiah, said that this award was an encouragement for the West Java Provincial Government, especially the West Java Diskominfo, to present the best information needed by the community regarding various activities, programs and development results carried out by the West Java Provincial Government.

"The Jabarprov website is the result of improvements that we launched in 2022," said Ika, Friday (22/12/2023).

"We are trying to display the information needed by the public in a complete and easy to read manner, integrated with all regional, district and city and central apparatus," he added.

According to Ika, the Jabarprov website is also the gateway for all information services in West Java. "We hope that the information services needed by the public can be fulfilled on the Jabarprov website," he said.

The 2023 IDIA Awards took place at the Borobudur Hotel, Jakarta, on Thursday (21/12/2023) evening. Awards are given to Ministries and Provincial Governments that innovate information technology to encourage the implementation of Good Governance and good public services.

The IDIA Awards are the highest form of appreciation for information technology creativity and innovation in Ministries/Agencies, Provincial Governments in order to encourage transparency and accountability in the digital era.

The IDIA Awards were initiated considering the importance of transparency of public information by Ministries and Provincial Governments. Realizing Good Governance, namely effective, efficient, transparent, accountable and responsible government administration.
