West Java First Best in 2024 Investment Service Award

JAKARTA – The West Java Provincial Government won the first national best award in investment services. West Java became the province that received the highest score in the performance of integrated one-stop services and the performance of accelerating business implementation.

Acting Governor of West Java Bey Machmudin directly received the award certificate which was presented by the Minister of Investment/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Rosan Roeslani at the 2024 Investment Service Awards (ALI) at the Mulia Hotel, Jakarta, Monday (30/9/2024).

Met after receiving the award, Bey was grateful that West Java has always been the best in investment services every year. This is inseparable from the performance and hard work of the West Java Investment and Integrated One-Stop Service Office (DPMPTSP).

"We are grateful to receive this best award. It shows that the hard work of DPMPTSP is not in vain. Their performance is very good and it is not in vain that I always remind them," said Bey.

The ease and convenience of investing in West Java is proven by the high interest of domestic and foreign investors. In the second quarter of 2024, the realization of investment in West Java combined from Foreign Investment (PMA) and Domestic Investment (PMDN) was recorded at IDR 63.66 trillion and absorbed almost 100 thousand workers.

Meanwhile, the investment target until the end of 2024 is IDR117.6 trillion. The majority of investment comes from the manufacturing sector.

Bey is committed to continuing to improve investment services so that more investors will come to West Java. Because, with investment, job opportunities will be more open.

"We must not be complacent, but must continue to improve investment services because that is one of the keys to opening up employment opportunities," said Bey.

Minister of Investment/Head of BKPM Rosan Roeslani appreciated the good collaboration between his party and regional governments and ministries/institutions in improving services and improving the investment climate in Indonesia.

"Thank you and appreciation for collaborating with us in improving services and improving the investment climate and competitiveness," said Roslan in his speech.

ALI 2024 is the final series of activities to assess the performance of one-stop integrated services and also the performance of accelerating business implementation. ALI 2024 was attended by 546 institutions consisting of 38 provincial governments, 415 district governments, 95 city governments, and 18 ministries/institutions.
