PORTALJABAR, SUBANG REGENCY - Subang Regent Reynaldy Putra Andita Budi Raemi accompanied by Deputy Regent Agus Masykur Rosyadi attended the Special Plenary Meeting of the DPRD in the context of the 78th Anniversary of Subang Regency, Monday (6/4/2026).

The plenary session took place solemnly with a different nuance, starting with a dance performance, reading of the history of Subang, and the KORPRI choir performing the song Indonesia Raya live, followed by the Subang Hymn.

Opening the session, the Chairman of the Subang DPRD, Victor Wirabuana Abdurachman, SH, conveyed his greetings for Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijri and emphasized that the momentum of the 78th Anniversary was a reflection of one year of leadership focused on accelerating development.

Then, in his remarks, Subang Regent Reynaldy Putra Andita, familiarly known as Kang Rey, explained that Milangkala Ka-78 of Subang Regency carries the theme "Real Work of Subang Ngabret: Realizing a Superior, Advanced, Competitive, Prosperous, and Religious Subang." This theme emphasizes the direction of regional development that is oriented towards real work and measurable results.

One of the main achievements conveyed was the construction of 92 kilometers of road infrastructure by 2025. He ensured that this construction would continue in stages until 2027.

"Our target is clear: by 2027, there should be no more damaged or potholed roads in Subang Regency," he stressed.

Kang Rey also expressed his appreciation to the West Java Provincial Government for its support in infrastructure development in Subang Regency, which has helped accelerate road repairs in various regions.

In addition to infrastructure, the Subang Regency Government is also promoting economic growth by strengthening the tourism and creative economy sectors. One way to do this is through the Subang Fest, which will be held in a decentralized manner in various regions in the future.

In public services, innovation continues through the #LaporKangRey public complaints channel, which has received thousands of reports and responded to them promptly. The government also provides convenient population administration services down to the sub-district level, as well as educational assistance programs for the community.

In addition, Kang Rey also conveyed plans to build a hospital in the Pantura region as part of efforts to improve access to public health services.

As the guest of honor, West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi or KDM emphasized that development cannot simply be carried out administratively, but requires courage in making decisions and a change in the mindset of the apparatus.

He also emphasized the importance of firmness in maintaining order and sustainable development in the region, and reminded all ranks to remain focused on their respective duties and responsibilities.

The 78th anniversary of Subang Regency is expected to be a momentum to strengthen the synergy of all stakeholders in encouraging faster, more equitable, and sustainable development.

Also present at the event were members of the Indonesian House of Representatives, the West Java Provincial DPRD, former Regents and Acting Regents of Subang, Chairs of Women's Organizations, and elements of the Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda).
