PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. BOGOR - Welcoming the commemoration of Heroes' Day which falls on November 10 2023, the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Bogor Regency, Burhanudin, made a group pilgrimage to the Pondok Rajeg Heroes' Cemetery together with the Heads of Regional Apparatus and the ranks of the Bogor Regency DPRD (9/11/2023).

Regional Secretary Burhanudin said that this pilgrimage was carried out as a form of respect for the services of the heroes who had fallen before them.

"This is a tribute and memory of the services of the heroes who have fallen before us, fighting for their homeland sacrificing their energy, lives and blood and tears," said the Regional Secretary.

The Regional Secretary continued to say that the struggle of the heroes must be continued by the nation's future generations in various ways, including achievements that can bring glory to the good name of Bogor Regency.

"We as the next generation can care for and maintain the independence of this republic, like the heroes who fought to win and defend the nation's independence," he added.
