PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. GARUT - The Acting Regent of Garut, Barnas Adjidin, led the morning assembly at the Regional Secretariat (Setda) of Garut Regency.

During the event, the Acting Regent of Garut symbolically handed over cleaning equipment to the Indonesian Mosque Council (DMI) Districts throughout Garut Regency.

This cleaning equipment assistance was symbolically received by DMI Tarogong Kaler, Tarogong Kidul, Sucinaraja, Samarang, and Karangpawitan Districts, Friday (8/3/2024)

Acting Regent Barnas explained that although the Garut District Government does not have a special budget for DMI, the handover of this assistance is a form of kadeudeuh to the sub-district DMI, to provide supporting facilities ahead of the month of Ramadan.

Furthermore, according to Barnas, this is a reflection of his journey while serving as Acting Regent of Garut.

Barnas mentioned several notes that must be followed up during his journey to lead Garut for more than a month.

"And of course this must be done with enthusiasm, then with responsibility, and can also be accounted for by the applicable laws and regulations," he said.

He also invited the public in the momentum leading up to Ramadan to increase the values of faith and devotion, as well as maintain the conduciveness of worship in the holy month of Ramadan. (Diskominfo Garut/Revo)
