PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Acting Governor of West Java Bey Machmudin plans to hold a joint viewing of the second match of the BRI League Championship Series Final 1/2023-2024 Madura United vs Persib Bandung at Gedung Sate, Jalan Diponegoro, Bandung City.

The match that determines the title itself will take place at the Gelora Bangkalan Stadium, at 19.00 WIB, Friday (31/5/2024) and will be broadcast nationally.

"At first we wanted to go there, but on May 31, June 1, the Pancasila Birth Day ceremony, so maybe we can just watch it together here, in front of Gesat (Gedung Sate)," said Bey Machmudin.

"Later, we will see the weather first, if it is possible we will hold the event at Gedung Sate," added the Acting Governor.

Bey Machmudin is also optimistic that, armed with a 3-0 aggregate goal lead, Persib has a big chance of bringing home the championship trophy.

Even so, both Persib officials and supporters should not be complacent, because Persib still has to perform well in order to win the match later.

"We have an advantage of three goals difference. Hopefully, God willing, we will win, later there will also be some kind of congratulations because Persib is the pride of the people of West Java, so on Saturday morning we will welcome them here at Gedung Sate, we will hold a congratulations event," he explained.

Bey is coordinating with the parties so that the Blue Prince can land at Kertajati West Java International Airport (BIJB), in Majalengka Regency.

Then, if Persib lands at BIJB Kertajati, the plan is that the Persib group will pass through the Buahbatu toll gate, and be received at Gedung Sate for the greeting event mentioned by Bey.

Bey did not forget to remind the people of West Java, especially supporters, to remain orderly if the club hailed by the people of West Java returns to the land of Pasundan.

"But I ask the public to welcome it in an orderly manner, don't disturb other traffic users," he said.
