PORTALJABAR, CIAMIS REGENCY - Innovation doesn't stop at exhibiting works.

This was conveyed by the Head of the Vocational School Development Division of the West Java Education Office, Edy Purwanto, when attending the 62nd anniversary series of SMKN 1 Ciamis, Tuesday (11/8/2026).

He also encouraged SMKN 1 Ciamis to continue developing innovations that provide real benefits for the school and the community.

"Whatever you do, innovation will only be beneficial if it's implemented and implemented. Don't show it off. If you only show it off, it'll just become a story," he said.

Edy also commended SMKN 1 Ciamis for its 62 years of dedicated service to the community. He believes SMKN 1 Ciamis's long journey provides the foundation for continued growth.

He believes that the spirit of service, inspiration, and sharing espoused by SMKN 1 Ciamis needs to continue to be realized through various programs that can be felt. He also sees several innovations developed by the school that can inspire other schools.

Edy also invited all school residents to view various problems that arise as challenges to bring about improvements.

"Don't talk about obstacles. They're challenges for a much better future," he said.

He also emphasized the importance of the current generation's role in continuing the achievements of the previous generation. He hoped that SMKN 1 Ciamis would continue to maintain its spirit of service, inspiration, and sharing.

"Today's generation must be much better, much greater than the previous generation," he concluded.
