PORTALJABAR, BEKASI REGENCY - The Bekasi Regency Government won First Place in the Advanced Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSLP) Governance category at the 2026 West Java CSR Forum as a form of recognition for strengthening the integration of CSR program planning and collaboration with the business world in West Java Province, Friday (19/06/2026).

This achievement was achieved through strengthening the planning system carried out by the Bekasi Regency Government through the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) as the secretariat for the regional CSR facilitation team.

The Bekasi Regency Government has compiled a development program menu based on regional priorities which are then aligned with the company's CSR pillars to support development needs in a targeted manner.

Head of the Economic and Natural Resources Division of the Bekasi Regency Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda), Vina Sari Nalurita, said the award is proof of the successful collaboration between the regional government and the business world in strengthening the governance of CSRLP.

"We, the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda), as the secretariat for the Bekasi Regency CSR facilitation team, are very happy with this achievement, as this is the second time Bekasi Regency has received a CSR award at the West Java Provincial level. Thank God, in 2026, Bekasi Regency received the Best I Regional Government with the Best CSR Team Governance at the Advanced Level, while in 2025, it received second place. This is all the result of good collaboration with companies and regional officials in Bekasi Regency," he said.

Vina explained that the main assessment indicators include local government planning which is actively communicated with corporate partners in the preparation of annual CSR programs.

The Bekasi Regency Government has prepared a development program menu tailored to the company's CSR pillars and submitted it to partners from July to October according to the CSR planning cycle.

It was recorded that 14 CSR partners consisting of industrial areas, companies, foundations, and universities participated in the Bekasi Regency development program in 2026.

In addition, there will be an additional 26 CSR partner companies in the 2025–2026 period as a form of increased collaboration between the business world and local governments.

"Thank God, in 2025 and 2026, we have added around 26 additional partners. This is a significant improvement in our performance. Despite the large number of companies in Bekasi Regency, we continue to invite them to become CSR partners," he said.

He emphasized that innovations such as the implementation of the CSR Musrenbang are an important factor in the assessment because they align government programs with the business world in a structured manner.

The Bekasi Regency Government is also developing a digital CSR program menu to make it easier for companies to choose programs based on location, CSR pillars, and regional development needs.

Through the CSR Musrenbang, 59 development activities have been agreed upon, covering the education sector, repair of uninhabitable houses (rutilahu), and the environment, with some programs already being implemented.

"There are 59 agreed-upon activities, some of which have already begun, including improvements to educational facilities and uninhabitable houses," he concluded.
