PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Head of the Bandung City Trade and Industry Office, Ronny Ahmad Nurudin, held the Main Cheap Bazaar session II on March 2–6, 2026 in 15 sub-districts to maintain stable prices and ensure stocks of basic commodities ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah.

Ronny stated that the bazaar is focused on helping residents obtain basic necessities at lower prices than the market.

"We will hold the second bazaar session on March 2–6, 2026, ahead of Eid al-Fitr. The goal is to help people obtain basic necessities at more affordable prices," said Ronny (March 1, 2026).

The public can purchase rice, cooking oil, granulated sugar, and meat at subsidized prices through a collaboration with Perum Bulog and Pertamina.

Each location provides around 10 sales tents to ensure even distribution and control queues.

Ronny ensures that commodity stocks are secure during implementation to suppress price spikes when demand increases.

Bazmut also offers Business Identification Number (BI) services, National Industrial Information System (NIS) registration, halal certification, Intellectual Property Rights, and on-site business licensing.

Micro, small and medium enterprises fostered by the sub-district also market products so that local economic turnover increases.

"We want to help the community, keep MSMEs moving, and keep regional inflation under control," he said.
