PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. GARUT - Head of the Garut Regency Agriculture Service (Kadistan) Haeruman directly inspected the construction of Farming Business Roads (JUT) in Pangeureunan Village and Simpen Kaler Village, Balubur Limbangan District, Garut Regency, on Saturday (3/8/2024).

In Pangeureunan Village, the construction of a 550 meter long JUT has only been realized for 250 meters. Meanwhile, Simpen Kaler Village, Haeruman said that the road construction funded by the Tobacco Products Excise Revenue Sharing Fund (DBHCHT) had only reached 300 meters.

Haeruman hopes that the JUT construction can be completed on time so that access to the transportation of agricultural products can be utilized by farmers and the community. Pangeureunan Village has great potential in corn and tobacco commodities.

"The expanse is quite wide, when the rainy season comes, these lands will be planted with corn after the tobacco plants are finished. Hopefully this road assistance can be utilized optimally. I suggest to the village head to make a Village Regulation, so that every time goods are transported via this road there is a contribution for further improvements," said Haeruman.

Haeruman also highlighted the construction of the JUT in Simpen Kaler Village, which according to him was still lacking in progress. He asked the provider to speed up the completion of this road.

"Which in the end can be utilized by the people here. The quality is quite good, but I suggest that at the other end the quality be further improved," he said. (Diskominfo Garut/Revo)
