PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi awarded Persib Bandung a Rp 1 billion bonus after winning the 2025/2026 Super League. The victory came after a goalless draw against Persijap in the final match of the week at Gelora Bandung Lautan Api (GBLA) Stadium in Bandung on Saturday evening (May 23, 2026).

KDM, Dedi Mulyadi's nickname, stated that the bonus money for Persib Bandung came from his personal pocket.

"To perfect my happiness, I will share it. I'm currently harvesting cattle, so there's bound to be some profit. I'll donate Rp 1 billion of that profit to Persib Bandung. It will be presented to the West Java Regional People's Representative Council on June 3rd," said KDM.

KDM hopes that the Persib Bandung victory convoy will bring happiness to the entire community.

According to KDM, Persib's achievements are the result of the team's hard work, starting from the manager, officials, coaches, players, Bobotoh Viking and all Maung Bandung fans.

"Persib Bandung has achieved a major goal in the history of Indonesian football, becoming champions three times in a row," KDM emphasized.

KDM added that Persib Bandung has shown itself to be a professional club without requiring government interference.

"I emphasize once again that Persib is a professional club without government interference. Winning without government interference is what true professionalism means," KDM concluded.
